Old fashion to modern

It's very easy to take your doll from old fashioned to modern or up until the mid nineties in this case.First off the dress has to be versatile so it needs to work for the Edwardian era  or any era after. Pinafores are a great way to give your doll's dress an old fashioned look  and if the dress has a peter pan collar it gives it an " Alice in wonderland look" .Stockings or

To turn the dress modern remove the pinafore , the stockings and replace with socks , shoes can stay or be switched for more modern looking mary janes, sneakers or saddle shoes.Hair for the old fashioned look two plaits with ribbons, curls with bow in back, or a single plait works , for the modern look anything goes.
